Lib kook Congressman Alan Grayson sure has a lot to say when he’s not being challenged. But he was hiding under his desk when Fox News went to him to comment on his numerous outrageous statements. Watch what happens here when FNC’s Griff Jenkins pays him a visit.

Left-wing kook Alan Grayson is surely making a name for himself. First the nutcase accused Republicans of wanting fellow Americans to die. But Grayson wasn’t done. Next, he insulted every American, as well as Jews everywhere, when he actually compared the Republican healthcare plan to the Holocaust and 9/11. He’s personally and viciously attacked Dick Cheney. All of these offenses are bad enough. But today’s revelation may take the cake.
Last month Grayson appeared on a radio program and to discuss Congressional oversight of the Fed. In the course of the discussion Grayson had these kind words for Ben Bernanke adviser, Linda Robertson.
Not that I expect much in the way of civility from many members of Congress, but this is beyond the pale. Grayson should have been taken to task already for his other hideous comments but has been shielded by hypocritical Democrats in the House, starting at the top with Nancy Pelousy.
You don’t need me to tell you what a firestorm this would have created if anything remotely close to this had been uttered by a Republican Congressman. Pelousy would have been first in line calling for a rebuke. The NOW gang and other so-called feminists would be on the rampage calling for a resignation.
Quite frankly, I hope this nut Grayson keeps talking. I think it only helps Republicans. But a line also needs to be drawn. His rhetoric has gone too far and, in my opinion, Grayson deserves now to be censured.
What say you, Nancy Pelosi?

Does this look like a problem to you? Well, to an apartment management company in Albany it is.
The company has told their residents in no uncertain terms that their flags are unwelcome and, if displayed, will result in eviction – even if the flag is displayed on their own vehicles!
ALBANY, Ore. – At the Oaks Apartments in Albany, the management can fly their own flag advertising one and two bedroom apartments – but residents have been told they can’t fly any flags at all.
Jim Clausen flies the American flag from the back of his motorcycle. He has a son in the military heading back to Iraq, and the flag – he said – is his way of showing support.
“This flag stands for all those people,” said Clausen, an Oaks Apartment resident. “It stands for the people that can no longer stand – who died in wars. That’s why I fly this flag.”
But to Oaks Apartment management, Clausen said, the American flag symbolizes problems.
He was told to remove the red, white and blue from both of his rides, or face eviction.
“It floored me,” he said. “I can’t believe she was saying what she was saying.”
Even long-time residents like Sharron White, who has flown a flag on her car for eight years, has been told to take it down.
White said management told her that “someone might get offended.”
“I just said to her ‘They’ll just have to get over it,’” White said.
Resident we talked to who had been approached to take down their flags all told us the same thing: that management told them the flags could be offensive because they live in a diverse community.
Attempts to find out for ourselves why management would ban flags were unsuccessful. KATU wanted to talk to management at Oaks Apartments, but no one has returned our calls. The woman we were told had made the decision said she was “not going to answer any questions.”
The mother of one soldier fighting in Iraq put up a poster in her son’s apartment window when she learned of the ban. Her son’s roommate said he’ll risk eviction to make sure it stays.
Another Oaks Apartment resident, Judith Sherer, doesn’t have a car. Instead she carries an American flag around the complex to protest the ban, and wonders if the flag pin she wears is next to be “singled out.”“If I put it on and I walk outside, what’s going to happen?” Sherer muses. “Am I going to be confronted by a manager about this?”
We’re told the ban includes sports flags and even flag stickers on cars.
If the building management had a rule against displaying any symbols on one’s property or outside a window, I could understand this to a point. But to tell people flat out that they can’t display the American flag anywhere is simply outrageous.
Sounds like another target for the tea party protesters if you ask me.

Here’s the situation as conveyed by Steve Lonegan.
As many of you know, the Wall Street Journal recently published a write-up by Whole Foods CEO John Mackey that was in favor of free-market reforms as regards health insurance. Click here to read that article.
Naturally, this caused great consternation amongst some collectivists, some of whom decided to boycott Whole Foods. On the other hand, pro-liberty forces — who appreciate Mr. Mackey’s suggestions — have been showing their support for Mr. Mackey and Whole Foods by attending what are being called “buy-cotts” — going to a store and showing your support for it (for example, by buying some of its merchandise).
This Monday — October 5th — from 4 PM to 7 PM there will be a buy-cott at the Whole Foods store at 300 Bergen Town Center, in Paramus, New Jersey. We invite you and any of your pro-liberty friends and family to attend. Feel free to pass on this invitation to them!
Importantly, the Paramus Whole Foods buy-cott plans to have in attendance Gina Loudon, the St. Louis, Missouri woman who created the buy-cott concept. (While she is in our area, Gina will also appear on the Jon Stewart Show to discuss the buy-cott.)
In addition, we are told there is a good chance that some local and perhaps even national media folks will show up for the Paramus event.

Last week I posted on the G20 protests going on in Pittsburgh, including around my alma mater, Pitt. Well, on Friday Sean Vannity had a segment with a couple of the protesters, 2 Pitt students. Suffice it to say, I can’t help being embarrassed by this to some degree. Watch here as these two students demonstrate their incredible naivete. God only knows where they come up with their ideas, but I fear they are only being reinforced in the halls of *higher learning* at Pitt.
First off, it is amazing to me that neither student can bring themselves to at least condemn the violence. The one girl justified the violence and vandalism as an effort to make ‘their voices heard.’ So, according to this leftist radical, such activity is OK if it means getting your message out. Bill Ayers must be proud.
Michael Moore must also be proud considering that these protesters have come to the twisted conclusion that capitalism is evil. Yes, somehow CEO’s making 6 figures is bad for society and needs to be reined in via taxation and forced wealth redistribution. Capitalism is evil because poor people still exist in society. And, ironically, capitalism is evil because, according to these ’progressives,’ progress resulted in the demise of the city’s steel industry. (As an aside, it should be noted that Pittsburgh has rebounded over time both due to a vibrant healthcare industry – Pittsburgh is known for its hospitals – not to mention the efforts/expansion of the University of Pittsburgh itself, which is the city’s top employer.)
Underlying the protester’s attacks on capitalism is the idea that there is a utopia. That if only there were wealth redistribution to address the ‘inequities’ of capitalism, opportunity and prosperity would abound for all. Of course, such socialistic visions only lead to tyranny and the spread of misery and poverty among the populace.
This segment just underscores the real problem we are facing. Too many people simply do not understand – and have not been taught – the virtues of capitalism and the superiority of its morality. Abraham Lincoln said it best:
“You cannot help the poor, by destroying the rich. You cannot strengthen the weak, by weakening the strong. You cannot bring about prosperity, by discouraging thrift. You cannot lift the wage earner up, by pulling the wage payer down. You cannot further the brotherhood of man, by inciting class hatred. You cannot build character and courage, by taking away men’s initiative and independence. You cannot help men permanently, by doing for them what they could and should, do for themselves.”
While these protesters are likely lost to this message and the virtues of capitalism and a free market system, it is up to conservatives to deliver it to our fellow citizens and persuade them otherwise.

Over the past month and a half or so, tea party protesters and people who went to town hall meetings have been derided and ridiculed. The DNC ran an ad calling dissenting Americans a ‘mob.’ Harry Reid basically called right-wing protesters evil. Lamestream media types have wrung their hands as well and fretted about potential violence. Likewise, Nancy Pelosi actually took to the podium the other day and, mustering up her best Meryl Streep, acted like she thought the ‘rhetoric’ of the tea party protesters would lead to violence. Meanwhile, the tea party protests in DC – and the dissenting voices at town hall meetings - couldn’t have been more peaceful. The only violence associated with them that I heard about were of union thugs laying fists on people like health care opponents like Kenneth Gladney.
Conversely, there is a protest movement that is most definitely out of control. A protest movement that is most definitely unruly, unlawful and violent. And these protesters emanate from the radical left-wing. They are the G20 protesters. Year in and year out, this crowd descends on the G20 Summit and willfully clash with police and vandalize surrounding neighborhoods. This year in Pittsburgh the storyline is no different. A number of businesses in Oakland, a borough of Pittsburgh that includes my alma mater, the University of Pittsburgh, had windows smashed. According to the latest reports, about 70 people have been arrested, with more protests expected today.
Here is just a sampling of some of the ‘mob’ activity of the G20 protesters in Pittsburgh.
One wonders, now, if the lamestream media will cover this with the same *concern* as they did the tea party movement. Will they likewise fret that Obama himself, who is at the Summit, could have his life threatened by one of these radicals? I know – don’t hold my breath.

CNN’s Wolf Blitzer appeared on Celebrity Jeopardy yesterday – and finished with one of the worst scores I’ve ever seen. Fittingly, though, Celebrity Jeopardy likes to, shall we say, spread the wealth around. So, despite Blitzer’s laughable performance which leaves him way in the red, he still gets to play Final Jeopardy!
