Things are getting ugly…fast. We conservatives have long known how many on the Left do not like being challenged. They are not much for debate or the free exchange of ideas.

In recent years, conservatives have been attacked, both physically and verbally, by Leftist protesters whether in the halls of Congress, on the streets, or on college campuses. Now, as the ’silent majority’ has begun to rise up and make their voices heard they are likewise being attacked, intimidated and smeared.

Richard’s post below demonstrated some of this. In St. Louis things have escalated where a black conservative named Kenneth Gladney was attacked by an SEIU union thug. The attack earned Gladney a trip to the hospital for injuries “to his knee, back, elbow, shoulder and face.” You can see the video here (h/t Gateway Pundit).

You would think that such tactics would draw the condemnation of the President of the United States of America. Instead, the great Obama is actually instigating these kinds of thug tactics. He wants those of us who dissent to be snitched on. He wants those of us who dissent to, well, shut the hell up. 

I don’t want the folks who created the mess to do a lot of talking. I want them to get out of the way so we can clean up the mess. I don’t mind cleaning up after them, but don’t do a lot of talking.

Somewhere, the Founding Fathers are spinning uncontrollably in their graves. And somewhere Mahmoud Ahmadine-jihad is chuckling. For these tactics are not the tactics of freedom-loving people. They are the tactics of totalitarian regimes and tyrants. It is, in fact, disgraceful.
