Congratulations, Michael Steele

January 30th, 2009 by Garden State Patriot and tagged Blueprint for Tomorrow, Garden State Patriot, Michael Steele, Michael Steele Wins RNC Chairmanship, Republican Party, RNC

Tis a new day for the Republican Party. Former Maryland Lt. Governor Michael Steele, after 6 rounds of voting, survived and emerged as the newest RNC Chairman.

Chairman Steele will have his work cut out for him, but I feel he is capable and that the party is in good hands. Interestingly, this means for the first time in the nation’s history both major political parties are led by black men. Now, if only the MSM would celebrate this ascension to leadership as much as The Messiah’s.

Here is Mr. Steele’s acceptance speech.

And here is his plan for the party entitled ‘Blueprint for Tomorow.’

What, now we go and find our own “magic Negro”?

This is a very, very sad day for America. The election of Steele proves that the Republican party will not go in the direction they need to for the sake of our country. They can expect to be in the minority for quite some time to come.

Are you a true conservative or just a kool aid drinker? If you are a true conservative then you would listen to what this other true conservative has to say about him.

Steve Deace is so right about him.

He’s a RINO. On that we can be clear. This proves that the Republican Party’s move to the Left might be a permanent legacy of the Bush years.

A Kool-Aid drinker? Have you looked at my blog?

Look, Steele wouldn’t have been my choice. Heck, I wasn’t crazy about any of the candidates really. But I do think Steele knows what needs to be done. Hopefully, he will ge the ship righted (in every sense of the word).
