Silencing & Intimidating The Opposition
A disturbing pattern is emerging from the Obama campaign. Any opposition is greeted with disdain and access to Obama is denied. Consider:
- ‘Joe The Plumber’ – All because he asked a question that led to Obama’s ’spread the wealth’ gaffe, Helen Jones-Kelley, an Obama camapaign donor and Ohio Department of Job and Family Services Director, appears to have abused her power by running a background check on Joe’s (EDIT) child support records.
- Barbara West/WFTV – As reported in a previous post, After Barbara West of WFTV asked Joe Biden some questions he didn’t like, the campaign blacklisted them from any more interviews.
- Reporters Get Boot From Obama Campaign Plane – The Washington Times, the New York Post and Dallas Morning News all had their reporters booted from Obama’s campaign plane after their respective papers endorsed McCain.
If this kind of pattern is emerging now, what do you think he will do with the full force of the federal government at his fingertips?

It might be me because I have been ripped by plumbers. An honest plumber is very rare and this guy who plans to clear over $250K in rural Ohio fixing toilets and water heaters is not clean. This is a guy that will be padding his bills.

As for your second point about Joe not being able to take the heat. Joe asked a simple question. He wasn’t throwing his hat in the ring to run for office. That could have been any of us in any neighborhood, seizing a moment to ask a Presidential candidate a question. To see him being investigated like this is beyond the pale. In essence, it is intimidation because if any of us are ever in a situation like this, we might very well not step up for fear of what might happen to us afterwards.
Moreover, Joe said he was planning to buy the business. He never said he made $250k.
